DAY 1: Sights
and Sounds Of Vientiane
After arrival, we enjoy a tour of Vientiane, the capital of Laos. We
visit the most important temples of Wat That Luang, Wat Pha Kaew,
Wat Si Muang and Wat Si Saket, as well as the Patuxai Monument.
DAY 2: Vientiane to Luang Prabang
We take a flight to the historic city of Luang Prabang. We visit
some of the important wats, including watermelon-shaped Wat Wisunlat,
Wat Aham and Wat Saen, and take in the views from Phousi Hill.
DAY 3: Pak Ou Caves
After a visit to the elegant temple of Wat Xieng Thon, we take a
boat up the Mekong River to the holy caves of Pak Ou. We also visit
some traditional villages producing the local liquor Lao Lao,
weaving cotton and silk and making paper.
DAY 4: Luang Prabang to Danang and Hue
In the morning, we visit the royal palace museum before taking a
flight to Danang in central Vietnam. After lunch, we take a scenic
road journey to the cultural capital of Hue.
DAY 5: Classic Hue
We explore Hue in depth, enjoying a morning boat cruise on the
Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda. We also visit the tomb of
Emperor Ming Mang. After lunch, we enter the citadel, enclosing the
old Imperial Palace and Forbidden City.
DAY 6: Hue to Hoi An
We leave Hue and before lunch in Danang, we visit the impressive
Cham Museum. In the afternoon, we arrive in charming Hoi An, where
we take a tour of the historic pagodas, houses and bridges. Dinner
and overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 7: Exploring Hoi An
As Hoi An is undoubtedly one of the most charming towns in all of
Vietnam, we leave today free for soaking up the atmosphere of the
streets. Guests can shop ‘til they drop or take an optional
excursion to the impressive Cham site of My Son.
DAY 8: Hoi An to Danang to Siem Reap
After breakfast, we transfer to Danang to fly to Siem Reap, gateway
to the temples of Angkor. We head to the Angkor for a sunset view
over Angkor Wat from Phnom Bakheng. Dinner and overnight in Siem
Reap.
DAY 9: The Bayon, Angkor Thom and the Grand Circuit
In the morning, we visit the sites of Angkor Thom, including Victory
Gate, the Bayon, Baphuon, and the Terrace of the Elephants. After
lunch in town, we visit the highlights of the grand circuit,
including Neak Poan, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan. We
return to the town for dinnerand overnight.
DAY 10: Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat
In the morning, we visit the highlights of the petit circuit,
including Prasat Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo and
jungle-clad Ta Prohm. After lunch in town, we visit magnificent
Angkor Wat to view its architecture and bas reliefs. We then
transfer to the airport

and smells of Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter. In the evening we enjoy a
unique water puppet show.
DAY 5: Hanoi to Halong Bay
Today, we drive east to majestic Halong Bay, one of nature’s wonders of
the world. We take a boat cruise around the bay, exploring caves and
beaches. Dinner and overnight in Halong City.
DAY 6: Highlights of Hanoi
We drive back to Hanoi and take an afternoon tour of Hanoi’s highlights,
including the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the One Pillar Pagoda, the
Temple of Literature and some classic French architecture. Dinner and
overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 7: Hanoi to Saigon
After breakfast, we head to the airport for the flight to Saigon. After
transferring to the hotel, we enjoy a city tour, including Reunification
Palace, the War Remnants Museum, and some of the best examples of French
architecture around the city.
DAY 8: Cao Dai Temple and the Cu Chi Tunnels
We take a trip to the Cao Dai temple at Tay Ninh and take part in a
morning service for this unique religion. After lunch, we head
underground at the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible complex of passages dug
by the Vietnamese to avoid American patrols and bombs. We return to
Saigon for dinner and overnight.
DAY 9: Exploring the Mekong Delta
We head into the Mekong Delta region, a landscape of lush greens. We
take a boat trip on the Mekong to visit some traditional islands and the
calm pace of delta life. Later we return to Saigon for dinner and
overnight.
DAY 10: Saigon to Phnom Penh
We take a morning flight to the capital of Cambodia. We visit the Royal
Palace and Silver Pagoda, the National Museum and the popular Russian
and Central markets.
DAY 11: Sights Around Phnom Penh
In the morning, we visit the gruesome genocide museum of Tuol Sleng and
the Killing Fields memorial before viewing Wat Phnom, symbol of the
city. After lunch we fly to Siem Reap. We watch sunset over Angkor Wat,
then return to town for dinner and overnight.
DAY 12: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
In the morning, we visit the highlights of the petit circuit, including
Prasat Kravan, the royal bathing pond of Sra Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo
and jungle-clad Ta Prohm. After lunch in town, we visit magnificent
Angkor Wat, the largest religious building in the world, to view its
architecture and bas reliefs
DAY 13: Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean
Today we enjoy an early morning visit to Angkor Wat to watch sunrise,
before continuing north to visit the elegant temple of Banteay Srei and
the riverbed carvings of Kbal Spean. After lunch, we visit Preah Khan,
Neak Poan and Banteay Samre.
DAY 14: Angkor Thom and Artisans DÁngkor
In the morning we visit the highlights of Angkor Thom, including Victory
Gate, the enigmatic faces of the Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, the
Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch
in town, we visit Les Artisans D’Angkor, a workshop to redevelop
traditional Cambodian artisan skills and the Western Baray. We transfer
to the airport for onward flight.

DAY 14: Kratie to Kompong Cham and Phnom Penh
We travel by boat to Kompong Cham and visit the Angkorian temple of Wat
Nokor and the hills of local legends, Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey, before
returning to Phnom Penh by road. Dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh.
DAY 15: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
In the morning, we visit the gruesome genocide museum of Tuol Sleng and

Hanoi
In the morning, we fly
to Hanoi. After lunch, we take an afternoon tour of Hanoi’s highlights,
including the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the One Pillar Pagoda and the
Temple of Literature. In the evening we enjoy a unique water puppet

Trang
We take a long drive
south to the coastal city Nha Trang, stopping to visit several Cham
towers along the way, as well as some attractive beach towns along the
way.
DAY 13: Cruising the
Islands Around Nha Trang
We enjoy a boat trip to
the islands off the coast of Nha Trang. We have a fresh seafood lunch
aboard the boat.
DAY 14: Nha Trang to
Dalat
We leave Nha Trang for
the hill station of Dalat in central Vietnam. We follow the coast south
to Phan Rang, before climbing into the mountains. We explore some sights
around Dalat in the afternoon.
DAY 15: Dalat to Saigon
Today we move south to
the big city of Saigon, passing through impressive mountain scenery and
active rubber plantations. We arrive in Saigon late afternoon.
DAY16: Sights and
Sounds of Saigon
We enjoy a city tour,
which includes the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, and
some of the best examples of French architecture around the city such as
the post office and city hall. We also take a look at some of the most
popular markets in the city.
DAY 17: The Cu Chi

We take a trip to the

DAY 19: Sights Around
Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
In the morning, we

fly to Siem Reap. We watch sunset over Angkor Wat from Phnom Bakheng.
Day 20:
Siem Reap – South Gate of Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat temple
After
breakfast, we will explore to the kingdom of Angkor by visiting the last
capital of Angkorian Empire, Angkor Thom via the South Gate, the giant
stone faces city temple of Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal
Palace, the Elephant Terrace and the Lepper King Terrace.
After
lunch at local restaurant, we explore the epic centerpiece of Angkor Wat
temple with its extraordinary architecture and bas-reliefs. We have
dinner at good local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Buffet
dinner with Khmer Traditional Dance Shows at good local restaurant.
Day 21: Tonle Sap lake & Banteay Srei – Ta Prohm
Morning
visit to Pour Krom Village, walking through this lovely local village to
experience how local people live, visit to a morning local market before
transferring to Chong Knies village to enjoy a boat trip on Tonle Sap
Great Lake.
In the
afternoon, we explore the most dedicated beauty of the Khmer temple
carvings of Banteay Srei in the 11th century. On the way
back, visit to the impressive Ta Prohm temple, where the famous film
Tomb Raider was shot and brought the Angkor Wonders to the world.
Day 22: Siem Reap / Departure
The
morning is free time at own leisure for shopping or exploration the
charming city till transfer to airport for departure. End of services.
